John 11:21-23. “Now Martha said unto Jesus, “Lord, If you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatever you ask of God, God will give you.” 23 Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.'”
Brethren, I don’t know what your challenges are at this point of your life, but I just want you to know that you will rise again because Jesus is still in control. It doesn’t matter how serious and terrible your situations are today, just know that Jesus is still in control. Are you like Martha whose brother was dead and buried for four days in the grave? Are you like the woman with the issue of blood? Are you sick or do you have a loved one that is sick? Are you out of job and about to lose everything you own? Are you trying to pass your exams or are you having trouble in your marriage? Are you in search of the fruit of the womb? Are your children giving you the kind of problems that are beyond your control? Are you in search of a life partner? Whatever might be troubling you, Jesus is still in control if only you can hold onto Him, trust Him without doubting in your heart and wait patiently for His time.
James 1:4-8. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord. 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for your unfailing power and your faithfulness, for you are always with me even in the darkest moments of my life. Lord, I’m sorry for my unbelief, doubts and impatient. Please help me to always remember that you are still in control no matter my circumstances in Jesus name. Amen.
