Your Divine Purpose

Matthew 1:21, “And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” Everyone has a purpose for coming into this world, including Jesus. The purpose of the coming of Jesus was to save His people (the World) from their sins. However, the enemies fought Him in many different ways to stop His purpose. Because His purpose was divine, all the plans of the enemies did not work, for no one can change the purpose of God in His life. Same goes for every one of us. We all have a divine purpose of God in our lives and no matter what the enemy says or do, no one can change or stop God’s purpose in our lives in this world. However, there are some instances where that plan can be delayed and keep us from enjoying the plans of God for our lives.

The plan of God for your life is good, accurate, perfect, peaceful and timely. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” What you will become in life, the destiny helpers you will meet on your life journey, your endeavors, and more, have all been programmed by God. To actualize these divine plans, you need to ensure you are with the right master – Jesus Christ.

God has created a blue print for everyone. No one can follow the blue print made for another person, otherwise such a person will be wasting his/her time. Walking in the will of God is our guide to following our unique blueprint designed by God. Sometimes, we delay the purpose of God from coming to pass when we choose to walk against His will or plan for our lives. God requires that we return back to Him and follow him for his will and purpose to finally come into fulfillment. Another thing that can delay God’s plan for us is the power of darkness and wickedness. Read Ephesians 6:10-14. Verse 12 & 13 of that reference states, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” We are encouraged instructed in the word of God to always pray and not be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11). 1 Thessalonians 5:17, “Pray without ceasing. 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.”

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we’ve come to you just as we are to ask you for mercy in every areas of our lives, help us in our journey of life to fulfil our divine purpose, help us to follow your blue print for our lives so that we will not deviate from your purpose as we continue our journey here on earth. Give us the grace to overcome every trials and temptations that will come across our way so that at the end, our purpose on earth will be fulfilled in Jesus name. Amen
