Glory be to God in the highest. One morning, as I was going through my daily devotion, the spirit of the Lord led me to the book of Revelation 5:1-14. The latter part of this bible reference is what I want to share with you all today. The topic on the bible passage was “Worship”. Which was taken from verses 8-14 but I will state verses 12 & 13 here, “Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive Power, and Riches, and Wisdom, and Strength, and Honor, and Glory, and Blessing. And every creature which is in Heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying: Blessing, and Honor, and Glory, and Power be unto Him who sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever.”
All the pronouncement above for the Lamb of God can also come from you and me. So, shout in a louder voice to give the God of heaven and earth a “Hi Five”. Do that one time, two times, three times, four times, five times, on and on until you’re tired of doing so. Saying Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to redeem mankind, in which you and me are one.
Though unworthy, He made us worthy.
Though UNDESERVED, He RESERVED us to become kings and priests in His kingdom.
Praise be to our God for ever more! Amen!
If you have not accepted this slain Lamb to be your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer with me: Lord Jesus, thank you for allowing yourself to be slain on the cross for my sins. Today, I confess all my sins (name the ones you know) and I surrender all my life unto you. Accept me to the family of God. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for saving me. Amen
Now, you’re a child of God. Don’t look back, don’t go back to your old life. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says this and claim it on yourself, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
For those of you that have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will realize that the testimonies above in the book of revelation is real. God is real and His words are powerful.
Worship Him, dedicate your life to Him and continue in the hope of His coming. Amen.
