MY YEAR OF POSITIVE AND GREAT CHANGE – Psalm 126:1-6, Genesis 12:2; Judges 6:14, Isaiah 58:11
- Positive Change is when you experience a divine encounter where God reverses someone’s circumstances abruptly, turning the negative into positive experiences that is beyond human and scientific understanding.
- We’re talking about the impact, intervention, and the move of God in your situations.
- Positive change is when God reverses negative patterns and brings about a transformative shift in a person’s life and journey.
- The Lord can turn the lives of individuals, group of people, a city, a church, a nation. Or a whole generation – all can experience a supernatural turnaround.
- Discover the concept of positive repositioning. This is where God repositions/realigns people to fulfill their heavenly mandate (Judges 6:11, 14; Isaiah 58:11)
- Judges 6:14. God told Gideon that “……you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites….” I pray for you that as Gideon experienced a positive change through a divine visit from the angel of the Lord, you shall experience the same in Jesus Name.
- It’s written in Isaiah 58:11 that “…the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, ….” I prophesy that every agent of affliction, sickness/diseases, sorrow, stagnation, frustration, depression and backwardness will depart from you and from your home.
- Then, God shall begin to impact your generation for Christ, IJN.
EXAMPLES OF POSITIVE CHANGE
- A positive change brings overwhelming joy beyond description
- 1] 2 kings 25:27-30. King Jehoiachin, for 37 years he was wearing prison garments.
- 2] Exodus 14::1-31. The children of all at the Red Sea were in a perilous situation about to perish but God gave them a positive change.
- 3] 1 Samuel 16:7-21. Hannah was a woman of sorrow.
- 4] Peter & his friends were professional fishermen . Luke 5:1-10
HOW TO EXPERIENCE A POSITIVE CHANGE
- You have to be born again.
- Trust in God – Mark 9:23; 10:27. You must have a violent faith that provokes a positive change. Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was passing, he shouted aloud- Mark 5:25-34; 10:47-48.
- Stay away from sin. 1 Corin. 10:5-13; Isaiah 59:1-3
- Have a lifestyle of praise. 2 Chronicles 20:18-22
- Complete obedience to God. 2 kings 5:14, Luke 5:5, John 2:5
- Learn to forgive others.
CONCLUSION
To step into the new life God has for us—our “promised land”—we need to live with hope and expect good things ahead. We can’t hold on to the past; instead, we need to move forward and embrace the new identity we have in Christ. As we prepare for a year of fresh direction and repositioning, make it your prayer to experience real, positive change.
