A Message from Pastor Jude Akinleyimu
Are you a Christian or a worker in the house of God, who is diligent in serving the Lord? Do you sometimes or often feel discouraged for all the failures and delays to answered prayers of past years? I want to encourage you to enter into 2021 with faith and hope. There shall be turning around and there shall be shouts of joy.
I believe the word of God that says, “They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;” (Psalm 92:14) KJV. “They shall be fresh and flourishing” (NKJV). “They will stay fresh and green.” (NIV). The contemporary English version says, “They will be like trees that stay healthy and fruitful, even when they are old.” According to Aramaic Bible version, “Moreover they will increase in old age; they will be Heavenly and sweet.”
Are you passionate and diligent in your service to God? Are you aggressive in soul winning but not seeing results? Be encouraged by the words of God in Isaiah 43:18-19, which says, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it. I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” As God has given you the grace to cross over to year 2021, have this assurance proclaimed by God through prophet Isaiah in the book of Isaiah 41:18-21, “I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it. Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the king of Jacob.”
The past miracles and blessings were nothing compared to what God will do in year 2021 and beyond. See your suffering, pain, failure and affliction as the strategy God will use for your open doors. These struggles are not just for fun nor do they come to your life by error. Expect unexplainable, unbelievable and undeniable blessings this new year.
Another assurance for you is in Philippians 1:6 which says: “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Do you sometimes feel as though you are not making progress both in your spiritual and physical life? When God starts a project, he will surely complete it. When you feel incomplete, unfinished, or distressed by your shortcomings, remember God’s promises and provision. There’s going to be open doors and fruitfulness for you, in this year 2021 in Jesus Mighty Name.
In Genesis 26:22, 24, 25. In three separate occasions, Isaac dug wells but the ownership of the well was disputed by the people of the land – the Philistines. “He dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it REHOBOTH, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.”” (v.22). After many fruitful efforts on securing a well, he finally dug a well full of water that no one fought him to attain. Just as Isaac dug a well and discovered water, so will you dig and find your water- it will be your season of joy, open doors and fruitfulness. You will shout for joy; joy of the fruit of the womb, joy of healing, joy of promotion, joy of academic success, joy of long-awaited testimony that has been manifested, joy of marital and financial settlements. The Lord is taking you to your “Rehoboth” – a realm of peace and testimony. Will you lift up your hands and begin to worship God for His faithfulness?
