The Church History
“It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Now I know God has started to perfect the sacred purpose for bringing me and my family to the United States”, an excited Pastor Akinleyimu said.
Earlier in September 2005, following a prophetic word of knowledge sent to the Akinleyimu family by God through a female evangelist, the church had taken off with a weekly home fellowship at the Akinleyimu’s house in Lakefront Drive, Wylie, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. It was that Sunday service last June, however, that brought to fulfillment a vision that had occupied the Pastor’s soul even before he stepped inside the plane that brought him and his family to Dallas, Texas from Lagos, Nigeria five years earlier.
The foundation of the church is based on Christ, the author, and finisher of our faith. We believe absolutely in prayers (Matthew 17:21), praise (Psalm 107:32), and working faith (Hebrews 11:6). And on this basis, the people receive their miracles from God. And the people of God are having testimonies to give to the glory of his name.
The wind is blowing, and the anointing is flowing. Be a part of the move of the Holy Spirit. This is a young and growing Pentecostal church. God has spoken well of us. We will like to see you in our midst so you can be a recipient of the manifold blessings of God’s grace and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We are always in the presence of the Most High God on Friday nights, having breakthrough prayers, praying until something happens. On Saturdays, there is the home fellowship which starts at 7 p.m. That is a time of prayers, praise, and worship. “We equally study the word, digging deep into the word of God”, says the pastor.
And on Sundays, in the presence of the Lord, at the Comfort Suite Hotel in Dallas, Texas between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., you will experience a time of revival, renewal, and refreshing. “The Holy Spirit is inviting and encouraging you to be a part of the people of God. Don’t hesitate, don’t agitate but rather be responsive and be blessed,” says the pastor.
For the family of Pastor Jude Folorunso Akinleyimu, the Nigerian-born pastor of the Christian Faith and Fellowship Mission in Dallas, Texas in the United States, Sunday, June 11 2006 will forever remain indelible in their minds. That was the day the North American branch of the church which has its headquarters in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria commenced Sunday services as a full-fledged church in the United States. Venue was the Comfort Suite Hotel, Dallas.
