The Columbo Tactic – How to evangelize more effectively. This is an interactive workshop to teach us how to effectively share the gospel of Chris in this generation. As the world changes, it is more paramount for Christians to pick up their mantle and do what God has commanded us to do. Many Christians are afraid of sharing the word because of various reasons. The most common ones are the fear of being rejected and not having the right words to speak. This workshop will help us overcome that fear by teaching us how to do more listening than speaking. And in our listening, we are able to share the word of Christ. Guest Speaker: Carol Hurtig Mrs. Carol Hurtig is a member of Waterbrook Bible Fellowship in Wylie, TX. She’s a member of the Mission Team at her church. Her desire for those whom God has placed in her care is for them to become disciples of the Lord Jesus and to follow The Great Command; to go into the world and preach the Gospel (Good News), so they might be saved and KNOW Jesus who is their creator. She desires for them to grow in His word, and their relationship with Him. Mrs. Hurtig was saved at age 7. When she gave her life to the Lord, she asked Him to use her in any way He saw fit to bring others to know Him. She was gifted with the gift of Missions and has been on several mission trips to Colombia (the country), and locally involved in several ministry outreaches, SOUL Homeless Ministry, witnessing at the State Fair of Texas, and shows of varying types.
