Suffering

As we look and reflect on the atrocities that has plagued the world since the beginning of the year, we are constantly being reminded that suffering has no partiality. The Bible does not promise that Christians will not suffer. In fact, there are many scriptures in the bible that give evidence to people of God suffering, either because of the evil that is in the world around us or the sin that is in us.

What God promised is that our suffering can become a catalyst for new growth and there are many other hope-filled passages that supports that. God promised that our suffering will not be wasted, that through our pain, he will open doors of opportunities to help others who may be going through similar situation. When we begin to see the love of God as he uses our pain/circumstance as a source of help to others, then it will be easy to share God’s love with those who seek for our help. By doing this, we begin to see that our pain, situation, or circumstance is another avenue in which we can point others to our loving and gracious God. This is how we can experience the transformation from “tears of suffering” to “shouts of joy”. Psa. 126:5-6, “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.”

What griefs are you currently suffering? Can you entrust them to God? Are you confident that he will use your pain/suffering to bring new growth into your life? Do you believe that through you, others can also experience the new growth that brings joy unspeakable and full of glory? Something they may not have experienced if you were not in the equation.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we ask that you turn our sufferings and sorrows into joy, bestow the love that you have given us to others so they may experience the everlasting joy that you have promised us. Amen

Whatever suffering we are going through today as the children of God is only temporary because Psalm 30:5b says weeping may remain for a night but rejoicing comes in the morning. Thanks Jude, good job ?

Even John 16: 33 say “in the world, we shall have tribulations, suffering, trials, griefs etc but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” It’s quite difficult to see God when we go through the ups & downs in our lives but his word remains the same , he has overcome the world for us, there’s no need to worry. We just need to find a way to give him praise during our suffering. Thank you Jude for this word.

It’s hard to see God through our suffering, but in our suffering, sorrow, pain, bereavement, trials, challenges and test of faith our God is in the center bearing with us to ease and comfort us.
    Thanks Jude, more anointing.
