He Knows Your Name

There was a friendly conversation between a father and his son, Bell. Father said to Bell, “Son tell me your name.” Bell refused to tell his father his name. He gave a condition under which he would say his name. Then the son ran to hide at the back of the bathroom door. The whole house belongs to the father and there is no place in the house that is not known to him. “Son, you don’t have a hiding place in this house”, said the father, “I know every nook and cranny of this house, and before you were born, I already knew what name I would give you. Son, I know your name.”

Do you know that as Bell’s attitude to his father, so also are you to your heavenly Father. God is our creator. We did not create ourselves. Many people today live as though they are the creator and center of their own little world.

Do you know that the Almighty God, the creator of the heaven and earth, the invisible and powerful God created your inmost being and knit every part of you together in your mother’s womb. He knows when you sit and when you rise, he knows your thoughts from afar. He knows about your going out and lying down. He is familiar with all your ways. Before a word is out of your mouth, he knows it completely. Do you know God is omnipresent-He is present everywhere. Therefore, you cannot hide from his presence. If God is what he is and there is no darkness before him. Hence, stop hiding your sins from him, stop running away from him. Stop complaining and stop giving excuses for not surrendering your all to him.

Run to him today with all your burdens and yokes, come to him as a penitent sinner and in repentance. Confess your sins and surrender your life to him. Accept him as your personal lord and savior. Let him take charge or your life. Allow him to lead, quicken and direct you as from today

The Bible says, “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the lord and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” (Isaiah 55:6-7) NIV

Seek God now, while you can, before it is too late. Pull down now all erected barrier between you and your God. He calls your name, answer him now with reference and confess your sins to him. He will abundantly pardon you.

Pray this prayer:
Father, I have sinned against you. I confess all my sins to you. Forgive me and have mercy on me. I accept Jesus your only begotten son as my Lord and savior. Give me the grace to follow Jesus all the days of my life. In Jesus name (Amen).
